All,
Wanted to know if it would be possible to move a vm from xenserver
(www.citrix.com <http://www.citrix.com/>) to a image that would run xen
open source (www.xen.org <http://www.xen.org/>). If so, how?

I don't know if xenserver has other ways, but an easy way is:

1. Stop the VM in xenserver
2. Manually mount the disks used by the VM and creates a tar.gz of them (or another archive)
3. Copy the archives to the xen server
4. Create the disks in the xen server
5. Copy the contents of the archives into the new virtual disks
6. Create a configuration for the vm
7. Launch the vm
