Ok, I built 2.6.32.10 following the steps from earlier in this thread and the 
build went without errors.  The new kernel won't boot however as a regular 
kernel.  I get an immediate stacktrace which I haven't been able to capture 
yet.  Shows things like 'kernel-init', 'child_rip', 'general_protection'.  
Still looking at it...
