Hi,

Did anyone successfully install xen 4.0 on ubuntu lucid or karmic 32 bits?
All tutorials I could find were based on 64 bits ubuntu.
I followed the guide written by Boris by no luck
http://bderzhavets.wordpress.com/2010/03/26/virst-installvirt-manager-at-xen-4-0-rc8-2-6-32-10-pvops-dom0-on-top-ubuntu-karmic-koala-server/
However,  xen seems work properly. But I failed to create a domain using virt-manager or virt-install. I have the following observations.

1. In the above tutorial, It said "First is commenting out (xend-unix-server yes) in /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp"
But I think the default /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp already has that line commented out. I don't know what I should do about it.
I will really appreciate if someone could share his config and let me compare the difference.

2. I didn't see Dom0 in the virt-manager. Only "localhost(xen)" appeared.

3. When I used virt-install to install a HVM, it showed the following error message.
libvirtError: POST operation failed: xend_post: error from xen daemon: <Fault 3: 'VM1'>
Using virt-manager is even worse. Sometimes it crashed the machine and I have to reboot.

That will be very helpful If someone could give me instructions for installing xen 4.0 on ubuntu lucid.
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Tommy
