I alias shutdown and reboot commands on my dom0's and system
management/monitoring machines to avoid the situation where i find
myself inadvertently typing in the root console or on the wrong session.
sure you could adapt this to check `xm list` or something and ask for
confirm before rebooting.

it's nothing fancy but it works.
