When I compile packages with configure in my dom0 (gentoo, 2.6.32-xen-r1,
64-bit on
Xen-4.gz), often some conftest program will hang using 100% CPU. It's not
always the same
conftest, but it seems to be about signals or time:

checking whether signal handlers need to be reinstalled...
checking for working mktime...
checking whether a signal handler can be left through siglongjmp...

kill -15 is inoperative, I have to kill -9 them.

Is there anything I can configure to prevent this?
