No in fact I now remmeber the problem first occured *before* installing GPLPV driver on the guests

> If you are using GPLPV then you won't have much luck with CD's under 3.2.1. Later versions of Xen allow qemu to disable the emulated harddisks but leave the emulated cdrom which allows things to work a lot better.
