Define bridge via OS tools on clean CentOS 5.5 instance like in :-

Setup Xen 3.1&(3.0.3 kernel&tools) via the Net. I believe the issue now is here,
regardless you installed via DVD ( or no ?).
Anyway you can setup Xen via DVD first and then :-

1. If using Xen it is recommended to disable its network munging by editing /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp and changing the line

 (network-script network-bridge)

To be

 (network-script /bin/true)

2. Define DHCP bridge per  http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/Networking

See what happens ?

I really need some help here.  I posted a previous message, but never
got a reply.

I'm trying to get Dom0 connectivity.  Currently it doesn't work.

Centos 5.5
kernel-xen.x86_64                          2.6.18-194.11.1.el5         installed
xen.x86_64                                 3.0.3-105.el5_5.5           installed
xen-libs.x86_64                            3.0.3-105.el5_5.5           installed

When it's booted networking breaks.  The o/s can't even get updates.

The only fix for Dom0 is to run

/etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge stop

What do I need to fix this?

Currently the box has only one network card.  Do I need another?

Guest OS's work fine either using fixed or dhcp natd

The guest OS's are even reachable when their up from the network.

Please help.  It seems like a bridge configuration issue.
