Hello all,

Recently started working with Xen. Currently use Centos because it's
just about ready out of the box. I know there is much talk about KVM,
but with my short experiencing it appears performance is an issue.
Apparently most distributions are leaning towards KVM support for
visualization.

The DomU's I've been setting up are linux, solaris. Would also like
BSD, but support seems to be lacking.

The Xen box I'm setting up is multi function. Lot's of
storage(backup) for MythTV media files and virtualization. I was
hoping to run Handbrake rips from one of the guest OS's but haven't
had any luck. Maybe running Handbrake from the Dom0 would give
different results.

The problem with Centos is the lack of support for desktop type
applications like Handbrake.

I've seen a number of people talking about Debian and Fedora.

Any input on available options?

Thanks
