Hello,

I've seen the same error message obtained trough compiling 4.0.1 from
sources on Slackware 13.1.

The very same sources (i.e. the sorce tarball of xen 4.0.1 retrieved
from the xen.org download page) show a different behavior under the
previous slackware version, 13.0, where "make world" does indeed
succeed.

Has something changed in git default behaviour, causing it to now halt
when driven by the sources' Makefile?

(The same problem has surfaced in another thread of the list,
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2010-12/msg00069.html)

Thanks

A.
