This is a laptop and you have GUI for both dom0 and Winxp when it happens?

Check how much swap is used by Winxp and keep it to a minimum and fixed size.

Post `xm info` and the domU config file.

OpenSuSE has a repo with Xen 4.0.1, called the Virtualization repo
