I've pieced together some information that might help.

This thread explained that the patch that added this feature "provides
some RRDs to determine how effective the caching is" and so the wiki
page on XAPI RRDs is:

I hope that is enough information to move you forward, but if it is

Do we need more documentation or a wiki page that describes this more?
