[Xen-users] what is the difference between make xen and make world

This is a very small doubt  I wanted to ask from a long time.
What is the difference between make xen and make world.
If I do a make world then do I not need to do
make xen
make tools
make install-xen
make install-tools
or vice versa?
What does make world do?
