Okay, now I found out, that actually I dont have a /dev/vtpm and I dont have a vtpm_managerd in my dom0. Why? Where can I get this? I compiled Xen with vtpm_tools=y... thanks Am 06.04.2011 12:00, schrieb Sebastian Biedermann: Hi list,IÂm not able to use a vTPM in a domU and I cannot figure out what is going wrong.IÂm using Xen 4.0.1 and prepared kernel dom0 package for debian squeeze. In the dom0, the TPM is working fine. So I added to the domU config file the line: vtpm = [ 'instance=1 backend=0']ID=1 for the domU instance and ID=0 for the domO instance with the working TPM.But when I start domU there is following error:Error: Device 0 (vtpm) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.I dont know whats wrong, the IDÂs of the domains are correct The xend.log File says:[2011-04-06 11:49:40 2066] DEBUG (DevController:139) Waiting for devices vtpm.[2011-04-06 11:49:40 2066] DEBUG (DevController:144) Waiting for 0.[2011-04-06 11:49:40 2066] DEBUG (DevController:628) hotplugStatusCallback /local/domain/0/backend/vtpm/8/0/hotplug-status.
