[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-users] xm create works, xl create does not
Hi xen-users! I have xen 4.1 installed on ubuntu natty by recompiling the debian-unstable packages. xm create <configfile> works flawlessly, but xl create <configfile> seems to mess up handing the disk to qemu. In the configfile is the following disk statement: disk = [ 'file:/var/lib/xen/images/debian-6.0.1a-amd64-netinst.iso,xvdc:cdrom,r' ] I can start a virtual machine with xl create <file> but after 30 the machine is destroyed because qemu has no disk to boot from. The qemu log in /var/log/xen says: domid: 7 -videoram option does not work with cirrus vga device model. Videoram set to 4M. Using xvdc for guest's hdc Using file /dev/xen/blktap-2/tapdev0 in read-only mode qemu: could not open vbd '/local/domain/0/backend/vbd/7/51744/mode' or hard disk image '/dev/xen/blktap-2/tapdev0' (drv 'phy' format 'raw') any hints? thx, Mark _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
