No tried things manually but looking at the directory where it is looking for that file, it simply doesn't exist. Ive also looked on another test system I built today and it is also missing from that so im guessing it is a bug in the package? I can't use bridge mode in that particular DC where the server is because they port block when another mac address is detected on the same port making bridge mode useless :( Ian -----Original Message----- From: xen-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:xen-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Simon Hobson Sent: 10 August 2011 22:54 To: xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [Xen-users] xen 4 debian squeeze routed mode Ian Tobin wrote: >Having an issue with an install of packaged XEN on squeeze. I don't know what the scripts do in routed mode (I suspect still build a bridge, but not join physical interfaces to it), but they are commonly acknowledged to be unnecessarily complex for bridged mode and advice is to comment out any network-script. -- Simon Hobson Visit http://www.magpiesnestpublishing.co.uk/ for books by acclaimed author Gladys Hobson.
