If you're on windows, I suggest giving imdisk a try. Great little piece of freeware, and I use it to mount everything except vmdk and vhd files. Works great on raw disk images, which is what I suspect you're dealing with here.

Hello Scott You can try downloading virtual clone drive, install it and mount the image to view its content in Windows, or if you are using any linux/unix distro try this: # mount -o loop my_image.img /mnt/images
