For example, I just created a VM: ---/etc/xen/win7.cfg--- kernel = '/usr/lib/xen-4.1/boot/hvmloader' builder = 'hvm' memory = '4096' device_model = '/usr/lib/xen-4.1/bin/qemu-dm' vcpus=8 # Disk disk = ['file:/home/xen/domains/win7/win7.img,ioemu:hda,w', 'file:/home/me/Downloads/installers_windows/en_windows_7_enterprise_x64_dvd_x15-70749.iso,ioemu:hdc:cdrom,r', 'file:/home/me/cdr.iso,ioemu:hdd:cdrom,r' ] # Hostname name = 'win7' # Networking vif = ['type=ioemu, bridge=br0' ] # Behavior boot = 'd' vnc = 1 vncviewer= 1 sdl = 0 -------------------- -----/etc/network/interfaces----- # This file describes the network interfaces available on your system # and how to activate them. I'm just using a file on the filesystem as the VM's drive.
