Hmmm ... so you don't know what they are?

Then the simplest version is if you create the guests using some kind
of frontend (e.g. virt-manager), then you'll get unbuffered I/O.

To understand any answer deeper than that, you need to at least have
created a guest/domU from scratch, with manually-created domU config
file.
