It's defined in my tree:
    $ git show qemu-xen-4.5.2
    tag qemu-xen-4.5.2
    Tagger: Stefano Stabellini < stefano.stabellini@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >
    Date:ÂÂÂThu Oct 29 16:03:21 2015 +0000

    Xen 4.5.2
    -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----
    Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux)

Perhaps you just need to "git fetch --tags"?

There was an issue with it being missing from the _old_ tree until last
week, but since you are explicitly talking about the new unified tree that
can't affect you I think.

I'm unsure what HEAD is for you (since it is repo local concept) but if you
mean something approximating origin/master then 3900 patches doesn't seem
too far out there, given that 4.5.x uses QEMU 2.0.2 while unstable is up on
2.2.1 right now, I get:

    qemu-xen.git$ git log --oneline qemu-xen-4.5.2..origin/master | wc -l
    4255
    qemu-xen.git$ git log --oneline qemu-xen-4.6.0..origin/master | wc -l
    4

I'm afraid I think we'll need more clarity on what you believe is wrong and
why before we can do anything.

Also, if you believe developer attention is needed then please use the
development mailing list.

Ian.
