IET support older scsi2 protocol , I had this issue on ESXi 5 which is not compatible with scsi2 and IET , only solution , if you have OpenFiler is to purchase the advanced iscsi target plugin , which support scsi3 and persistent reservation , or switch to Linux LIO target which supports scsi3 and persistent reservation . Do you experience disconnection between the storage and the hosts ? if you have heavy loads on the storage then you are going see some disconnections .
