Re: [Xen-users] Instrumenting code from libxl_create.c

Hi Juergen,
I configured Xen with ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib
and
root@controller:/home/controller/dev/xen# ls -l /usr/lib/libxenlight.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Jun 22 09:25 /usr/lib/libxenlight.so -> libxenlight.so.4.7

Another information, changes I made within tools/libxl/xl_cmdimpl.c are effective.

Hi all,
I have switched to the latest xen version (4.7).
I am instrumenting some functions from tools/libxl/libxl_create.c (e.g. libxl_domain_create_new function) but I seems that my changes are not
taken into account after compilation and installation (make && make
install-tools).
It was not the case with previous Xen version (e.g. 4.5.3).

Please, does someone have any idea?

Are the install path of libxenlight.so and the library search path
matching?

On my system (openSUSE) I have to configure Xen before compiling like
this:

./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64

Default would be --prefix=/usr/local and --libdir=/usr/local/lib
