Re: [Xen-users] PV guests concurrent running limit

Perhaps because of the limited resource? I experienced similar situation as I use a old desktop to run Xen 4.1 several years ago. Dom0 died occasionally as the resource was tight so no logs were found either.

Hello xen users

I'm experiencing problems when trying to deploy more than 50

No relevant messages in logs I found.

Domain 55 has shut down, reason code 3 0x3

Domain 55 needs to be cleaned up: destroying the domain
Done. Exiting now

No messages appears in console log, even in the hypervisor.log

The tests were did under xen versions 4.4.4, 4.6.1, 4.6.3 and 4.7

The xen.gz line command contains loglvl=all guest_loglvl=all parameters.
I also looked for any kind of limitation constant (like "50") in the
source files with no success.
I'm running in a dual Xeon  X5660 (12 cores / 24 HT) and 64 GBytes RAM.
Each VM consumes less the 400 MB of RAM.

Any ideas?

Andrey
