Hi. I have the same issues for a while now with different xen versions.

Basically we are now running xen 4.7.1 on ubuntu 16.04.1 lts hosts,
all our gusets are HVM, using STUBDOMAINS and we are using the latest
8.1 series signed PV drivers.

All our windows 10 and windows 8.1 instances free (crash xen log: page
fault at linear address) after a while (we could not determine the exact
reason), and it is a nightmare to do the "edition upgrades", due to
usually it hangs during the process and on the next boot windows
restores the old build, and the process starts from the beginning.

I can provide you some interesting logs. Our VMs' config is based on the
same template:

name = "etit-template"

builder='hvm'
device_model_stubdomain_override=1

memory=4097
shadow_memory=32

disk=[
        '/data/xen/vms/etit-template/disk.raw,raw,hda,w'
        ]

vif=[
'bridge=xenbr4,ip=10.0.4.2,mac=00:16:3E:00:16:4F,model=e1000,type=vif' ]

# boot on floppy (a), hard disk (c) or CD-ROM (d)
boot="c"

on_reboot='restart'
on_crash='preserve'
on_poweroff='destroy'
