Re: [Xen-users] xen & debian stretch & windows

Hello,

If you have updated Stretch to 9.1, then it appears that the latest qemu-system-* is binary incompatible with the distro Xen-4.8. That Xen has not been updated since May 2017.

Solution is to grab the Sources and build it in an up-to-date chroot with correct build-requires.
If you want the Debian-delta (with most of the current patches) for this I've got it here

navigate to the source/.

Hi

I used xen with debian 7 wheezy. all worked fine.

I made a new installation with debian 9 stretch.

I kept my virtuals machines.

I have a windows 7 virtual machine but i cannot start it.

I changed my /etc/xen/sqlserveur.cfg

When i launch "xl create sqlserveur.cfg" i obtain :

Parsing config from sqlserveur.cfg

and nothing else

So i decided to create a new windows machine (sqlserver.sql)
unsuccessfully whith the same message

There is nothing in logs.

xl list shows :

sqlserveur    7    16192    2    -b---- 141,5

then i use "xl destroy sqlserveur".

Thanks for your help
