Hi all,

I made some significant improvements to the following documents
* https://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Submitting_Xen_Project_Patches
* https://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Managing_Xen_Patches_with_Git

One thing which became clear to me though is that neither mini-os nor the
unikraft repos have a get_maintainer.pl / add_maintainers.pl and thus a core
section of the workflow would be incorrect for mini-os/unikraft. This was
already the case for earlier versions of the document

However, I think everything else pretty much applies to mini-os as well as
unikraft

You may either want to consider adding the scripts and/or adding more
information to
https://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Submitting_Xen_Project_Patches#How_to_Generate_and_Submit_a_Xen_Project_Patch_to_MiniOS_and_Unikraft

The scripts should pretty much work out-of the box for mini-os/unikraft, with
the exception that there is a check on whether the script is applied to the
right tree and that the MAINTAINERS file is named differently in unikraft repos

Going forward, there will likely be further deviations, as we are planning to
introduce bot based CI for build and smoke tests to xen-devel@ as outlined in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoSrqFU4LVw

Thoughts?

Regards
Lars
