I made some changes to get_maintainer.pl / add_maintainers.pl
which should make these tools at least usable for mini-os and with 
a bit of extra work on my part will work for unikraft repos also.

To make it usable with mini-os you need a MAINTAINERS file, such as
https://lists.xenproject.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2019-08/msg01581.html 
This is a MAINTAINERS file for livepatch-build-tools.git
   
If there is interest, I can change get_maintainer.pl such that it will try 
loading MAINTAINERS.md files if MAINTAINERS is not present
