I believe it's coming fromÂhttps://github.com/mirage/mirage-bootvar-xen/blob/master/lib/bootvar.ml#L43 , since "Malformed boot parameter" (as seen in the output here https://gist.github.com/sgrove/dd47f8a7e34583b809f4#file-ec2_boot_console_output-L95, and passed by ec2 here https://gist.github.com/sgrove/dd47f8a7e34583b809f4#file-ec2_boot_console_output-L11) doesn't show up in Functoria. That said, I chatted a bit with Drup about this, and he mentioned that Functoria will run into the same issue, even if we can get past the bootvar-xen issue.

Is it perhaps possible to change the boot parameters for EC2 (I'll google as I have been doing in order to get this far, but perhaps someone knows already)? If not, what's the solution for handling this?

This leads me to suspect this bug reading boot parameters reported by @talex5: https://github.com/mirage/mirage/issues/493 .Â As yet unresolved although a path forward is outlined; perhaps Drup can comment?
