Re: [Publicity] FOSDEM booth demo:

Thank you. Also, knowing you are a speaker, I did find this information on the FOSDEM 2014 web site:

Every edition of FOSDEM, we conduct a short interview with the main track and keynote speakers. https://fosdem.org/2014/interviews/

So I imagine you, or anyone else with the Xen Project speaking at the event, has been or will be contacted for an interview. If not, I'd be happy to pursue on our behalf.

Thanks,

Good plan -- I've been asked to give a last-minute MirageOS talk in the 'miscellaneous' main track too, so I'll get in touch with O'Reilly to see if they'll have copies of Real World OCaml there.

Thanks for the background. I might see if O'Reilly has anything planned.

At a minimum, seems like we could get some exposure on Linux.com too.

I haven't seen a lot of press at past FOSDEMs, which is surprising given that close to 4-5000 people show up every year...

There have been writeups in european magazines like the Linux Journal in the past, though.

Hi all,

Wondering if any press and/or analysts ever attend FOSDEM? My brief research of 2013 coverage didn't turn up many results, other than a mention on the site opesource.com.

I do see that O'Reilly is a sponsor this year though. Would there be an opportunity to set up demos with reporters or analysts possibly at the Xen booth?

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Sarah

Hi Srinivas, Lovene, everyone,

A bit of context:

Personally, I think having one of you at the Xen booth for half an hour (or an hour, or two hours, or whatever... we can sort the details later :-P) with a tablet running the dual Android on Xen setup you demoed to us in Edinburgh would be seriously *AWESOME*.

What do you think... Can we count you in? :-)

Thanks and Regards,
Dario
