Last year I got a couple of those annoying question like "why you're here, xen is not open source?" or "isn't xen dead already?" or "we don't need you, there is <another_open_source_virtualization_solution>, isn't it?". This year, _not_a_single_occurrence_ of the above questions and attitude showed up, which was very good! :-P On the contrary, a large number of people wanted to *buy* t-shirts (i.e., asked how much they were and were surprised they were free). At least a handful of people actually tried to donate money to us! That's quite a big change. As an aside, I think we need to have a better answer when people ask that. I was thinking something like, "The XenProject is actually funded by a board of about a dozen corporations, so we have plenty of money. But what we can't really buy is people testing new Xen releases, giving good bug reports, and talking about Xen. Those are all great ways to support the project."
