[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Wg-test-framework] Correction ot the Switch Layout
Ian, We are not going to renumber anything. We only moved the PDU's to the test vlan for direct connection purposes. We will move them back to the Infrastructure vlan when the routes and the NIC bridges are implemented. The servers are plugged into the tagged ports 1&2, the PDU's will be plugged into the Infrastructure VLAN ports 43 & 44, all the test systems plus the switch will be plugged into the Test VLAN ports 3-42. Unless you have some other scheme in mind I think once the Bridges and Routes are completed all will be as you want. I am expecting the RMA from COMTROL Tuesday morning. I am going to send the components back Next Day Air, so we might have the components back by the end of the week or the beginning of next week. I will have a meeting with DonK tonight to talk about what has to be DONE. Also, I'm a bit concerned with all this stuff going on the test vlan. I know you're saying this is a temporarly measure but this will just result in a lot of rework. Surely getting the routing between the vlans working (even without a firewall, for now) is a better answer than planning to renumber everything again. Thanks, Ian. _______________________________________________ Wg-test-framework mailing list Wg-test-framework@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xenproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/wg-test-framework
