It turns out that the other problem I was experiencing was a manifestation of Debian bug #678696: the C600 driver takes a little longer to enumerate the disks, and sometimes loses the race with the initramfs init script. The initramfs has no mechanism to attempt, later, to activate the lvm vg. So as a result the system failed to boot some proportion of the time. Adding a `rootdelay=' parameter to the boot arguments worked around it, and the bug is fixed in Debian jessie. So these two machines are now working. I have run them through the usual set of commissioning flights and they are now in the test pool. Thanks, Ian. _______________________________________________ Wg-test-framework mailing list Wg-test-framework@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xenproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/wg-test-framework
