If this is a clean install, it's all been done for you already, you would want to download this BASE ISO. http://www.xen.org/download/xcp/index_1.1.0.html

Burn it to a CD/DVD, boot from it install away.  If you want something other than XCP then I mistook what you really wanted.

If you are using a Ubuntu or Debian kernel then you need to get a DOM0 kernel installed instead of the one you are using, that is compatible with whatever linux verison you are using.

You may want to take a look at Project Kronos:

And building the XCP toolstack (XAPI) from source:
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Compile_the_XCP_toolstack_from_source
