The version mismatches seem harmless -- we use Xen on FC2 all the
time. Once we've got some per-distro rpms made up we should be
able to avoid this.

Have you actually booted into xen/xenolinux? You should have a
/proc/xen/privcmd

You'll also need to start xend as root.
