Check your grub config file.  You xen entry should look something like this:

title Xen 2.0 / XenLinux 2.6.9
       root (hd0,2)
       kernel /boot/xen.gz root=/dev/hdc3 dom0_mem=512000 console=vga
       module /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-xen0 ro root=/dev/hdc3 console=tty0
       module /boot/initrd-2.6.9-xen0.img
