Have you actually built a xen kernel from the 2.0.4-4 package under debian with an initrd or are you just assuming I haven't specified the option? I probably should have supplied this in the first instance... here's the commands I'm using to build the kernel: export INITRD_OK=1 make-kpkg --initrd --arch xen --append_to_version -xen0 kernel_image I've made an initrd myself with mkinitrd and that's fine, I just thought someone might like to know that it doesn't seem to go by default. thanks James > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark Horn [mailto:mark@xxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Sunday, 20 February 2005 00:58 > To: James Harper > Cc: xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: [Xen-devel] debian build okay but no initrd > > On Sat, Feb 19, 2005 at 09:31:08PM +1100, James Harper wrote: > > A make-kpkg under debian doesn't seem to give me an initrd...
