If Xen / XenLinux will boot on your system then they should be able to boot 
from a pendrive.  You'll have to set the relevant USB options in dom0's 
config before compiling it.

We'd be pleased to see this working.  A while ago we proposed a PC 
architecture which used Xen (or something similar) as a next generation BIOS 
replacement - part of that vision is to have Xen / dom0 (safe hardware 
interface / next gen bios controller in our plan) boot off flash.
