Raphael Bossek wrote: To the best of my knowledge most of the commonly used IDE chipsets are supported. What should I expect on the stable tree? What about the comments at http://www.suse.de/~garloff/linux/xen/ about IDE DMA ? IDE DMA support is perhaps one of the most common user problems with Xen. The default Xen config does not compile support in for most of the IDE chipsets. You most likely have to recompile your kernel sources and add the appropriate support for your chipset. I hope to get some first hand infos. ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
