Ah, your problem is a common one. Basically you need to rebuild the kernel and add support for your scsi card. To do this do the following: - go into linux-?-xen0 dir - type "make menuconfig ARCH=xen" - under Device Driver --> Fusion MPT device support .. you will need to compile these as module - type "make ARCH=xen" - type "make ARCH=xen modules_install" - type "make ARCH=xen install" - create your new initrd and your set On Wed, 2005-03-09 at 12:18 -0800, Kevin Fox wrote: > Forgive me if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I am unable to > bring up Xen on Redhat 4.0 because of a missing initrd module. > I've tried creating a new initrd (with mkinitrd) but it complains about > missing mpt modules which do not appear to be built in the src tree (2.0.4). > > Is there something simple I'm missing here? > > TIA > Kev > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide > Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. > Discover which products truly live up to the hype.
