I can boot a HVM guest with c/s 15417 with 64bit Xen,
Linux/x86-64 as Dom0 and Linux/x86-64 as HVM DomU on AMD-V.

Can you provide more information, please? Do you use AMD-V ? Do you use a
32bit or 64bit xen, what is your Dom0, what is your HVM guest?
