# hg clone http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-3.1-testing.hg
# cd xen-3.1-testing.hg
# hg archive -r RELEASE-3.1.2 -t tgz ../xen-3.1.2.tar.gz

You can see what releases are tagged in a repository with 'hg tags' and pass
any of those tags to 'hg archive' using the -r option.
