How are you measuring performance? The hypervisor can run simultaneously on every core of a multi-core system. It does have internal locking and synchronisation of course, but actually there’s little contention when different VMs run on different cores.

Hi,
I found that there is a sharp decline on VM's performance when a number of VM runing on the same physical hostile, I think maybe xen hypervisor is bottleneck, my question is can hypervisor run on multi-core at the same time. thanks!
