Re: [Xen-devel] Kemari Project only works with HVM domains?

Hi Thiago,

May be no, I do not think you can use 64bits Xen hypervisor with Kemari.
We have not tested Kemari on 64bits yet, though.

Thank you,

Hi Yoshisato,

Ok, I'll bur another CPUs with support for HVM virtual machines...
Yes, I know it must be patched and recompiled! :-D

 Only other question:

Can Xen Hypervisor be 64bits? My HVM domU to use with Kemari will be 32bits.
Or entire setup to Kemari needs to be pure 32bits?

Thank you!
Thiago

Yes. Since Kemari requires shadow page table, you cannot use it with
domUs. Detailed information why Kemari requires shadow page table can
be got from "Documentations, Slides" in:
    http://www.osrg.net/kemari/.

My two identical 32bits dom0 nodes doesn't have support for HVM
        domains, only PV.

I am afraid that you might not know recompiling of Xen is required to
    use Kemari.
