  Thanks Mitch. I am not sure if you found where is the bug or if you are still 
trying to debug the code.
  In a previous email, I have included a previous version of the code that 
works. That version is based on your original patch for an ealier version of 
the ixbge driver plus some fixes we did at HP Labs. We have been using that 
version without problems. If you compare that with your current code you should 
be able to locate the problem in the current code.
