There is a lot of snapshots down here. They have been made via remote VNC connection
to Xen Unstable Dom0 ( 2.6.29-rc5(3) pv_ops kernel) running pretty stable on mentioned PCs.

Andy,

Could you provide detailed specs for your CPU,Board (North,South Bridges), HDDs
Bios vendor&version, bios settings for South Bridge.
It seems to me as hardware or bios related issue. The most recent 2.6.29-rc5 (Xen Dom0 support enabled) works fine under Xen Unstable on Intel ICH8R (ASUS P5B Deluxe) and Intel ICH9R (ASUS P5K Premium) with bios settings AHCI for mentioned chips. Seagate SATA II Drives 160 GB & 250 GB gets detected properly per "dmesg" report.

Boris

I built from the git tree this morning and still get the same ahci and
piix problems on my test box (a dell optiplex 755), is that problem
supposed to be fixed?

Pretty sure I followed the correct procedure, the dom0 option
was
visible in menuconfig along with all the other xen options.

Andy
