Hi,

In my Xen 3.2.1, I passed 2G memory to Xen, but just about 256M memory
was recognized by command "xe vm-list uuid=<myguest_id> params=all|grep
memory".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
                 memory-actual ( RO): 268435456
                 memory-target ( RO): 268435456
             memory-static-max ( RW): 2147483648
            memory-dynamic-max ( RW): 2147483648
            memory-dynamic-min ( RW): 67108864
             memory-static-min ( RW): 67108864

In my xen host, which has 4G memory. So I guess that is not a problem to
assign 2G memory to a Guest(I just have ONLY a guest).

I wonder how the Actual memory be calculated in Xen hypervisor, any suggestions?

Thanks,
Wei Jiang
