Have a quick look on the code,

This should be caused by following code in hpet_broadcast_init(). Without 
changeset 20430, the num_possible_cpus() get 4 on your platform, and is 64 
after the change.
I suspect this is a bug just revealed by #20430, I will have a deep look on the 
hpet logic and discuss with WeiGang to fix it.
