Per yours feed it seems it makes sense try load patched Xen 4-0.rc6 with 2.6.32.9 (stable).  It would be a fair . Right ?

Can you tell whether its Xen itself crashing, or if the dom0 kernel is crashing?

Once Xen is patched, it should be sufficient to run a patched domU hvm kernel (you don't need to update your dom0 kernel).
