Yes, thank you, I did that and was able to log in again.  I am wondering
if the error is due to the fact that the "xl.sh" script uses
bash-specific syntax or commands, but Xsession is running dash instead?
Should "xl.sh" check to see if the interpreting shell is bash before
executing them?
