Hi,
I want to use xenoprof in pv dom0. so i use  the patch from Dulloor (in branch origin/xen/oprofile ) to the xen/stable-2.6.32.x (57028f01dcd263bcee41e00ddcda167a082ae075).

My xen (version: 4.0.0) which is compied from the source code.
All seems to work, I even could use oprofile to collect samples.
But the xend which could not start normally.

check the xend.log, I find taht

I go  check /proc/xen/capabilities , it contains control_d in this file.

and then I go to the /dev/xen, nothing in this directory.
It seems evtchn which is missing.

then I compile  xen_evtchn as  module (before, xen_evtchn is built-in), and modprobe xen_evtchn manually
it seems evtchn in /dev/xen now.

Go on to execute /etc/init.d/xend start. just fail. the error log is the same mentioned above.
and the evtchn is missing in /dev/xen now

try xenstored,

I got
{{{
ERROR Internal error: Could not open event channel interface (22 = Invalid argument)
FATAL: Failed to open evtchn device: Invalid argument
}}}

any comments and suggestion?
