Hi Keir

Thanks so much. The non http git worked perfectly - I tried it as a standalone command.
But now the issue is how to modify all the Xen makefiles to use git directly instead of http based git. So I think I still need to get the http based git to work.

I am using X86_64 Fedora 13.
Here's a portion of the git clone http output using the following command
$ GIT_CURL_VERBOSE=1 git clone http://xenbits.xensource.com/git-http/qemu-xen-4.0-testing.git
